Bio

Dionté Lee is the CEO and Founder of the Lee & Best Development Firm, LLC. He is a human resources leader with over 7 years of industry experience. He earned a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a concentration in Human Resources Management from UNH. He has a passion for building relationships and being a positive change agent for organizations. Dionté has five years of higher education experience; three of those years have been in a leadership capacity. He is currently the head of Training & Development for a for-profit private university. He has had the pleasure of managing a range of employees such as supervisors/non-supervisor employees, work-study students and interns. He also manages a series of cross functional projects involving executive leadership team members.

Prior to his current position, Dionté was the Human Resources Generalist, as well as an Associate Faculty member for the Business Administration program teaching a rotation of courses such as HR management, College Success Seminar and Introduction to Business. Dionté has also served as the Human Resources Associate at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. His responsibilities included managing the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) with special attention to digitalizing the employee tracking system.

As a graduate student at the University of New Haven, Dionté served as an intern with Yale New Haven Hospital as a Human Resources Generalist. He reported directly to the Director of Recruiting. Currently, Dionté is focused on preparing potential candidates to stand out in the competitive job market. In addition, Dionté specializes in career coaching and developing/facilitating content around the following topic areas: Employment Law, Mediation & Advocacy, Policies & Procedures, Staff Recruitment & Retention, Employee Relations, Benefits Open-enrollment, HR Program/Project Management, Orientation & On-Boarding, Training & Development, Performance Management, and Organizational Development.

Bio

Curtis K. Best served as a US Army National Guard soldier, and was trained as the Tactical Operations Center Lead Radio Transmissions operator for the 1/102 Headquarters Infantry Battalion. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Southern Connecticut State University, and a Human Resource Management Certification from Post University. He is currently continuing his educational endeavors by pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Corporate Innovation.

With over 17 years of professional experience, Curtis has a diverse array of successful and professional experiences ranging from his role as a member of the Board of Directors for a local chamber of commerce, Director of Regional Sites, Director of Enrollment and a Director of Corporate Development. Curtis has worked with and collaborated with such organizations as the CT Conference of Municipalities, AFCSME Council 15, CT Department of Labor, Department of Education, MasterCard, Walmart, The Hartford Insurance Co., Bank of America, Wells Fargo and much more.

Curtis continues to work with the best and brightest in the leadership and business development field within education, HR relations, Financial, public service. When not wearing a tie, Curtis spends much of his free time with his family, including his 2 children who are premier league baseball and soccer players.
